Rubedite Ore is a dark red ore found in any zone. When mined, a node yields three to four samples of the raw material, Rubedite Ore. Once ten ore samples are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten Rubedite Ingots. Rubedite ingots are used for crafting pieces of heavy Rubedite Armor and weapons at any blacksmithing station.

Dreugh Wax sells for 3,000+ gold per Wax and you need 8 to improve a piece of gear; that's 24,000+ gold to improve one piece of gear. Still, even though it's expensive, I agree that buying it is the best way. Refining raw materials and relying on chance won't net you a lot of Wax unless you refine stacks and stacks.

False. You have higher chances of Rubedite ore, and will see it more often in different zones, but you can easily find iron or high iron too. In just increases chances of finding higher tier materials. No, not wrong. A CP 160 character with Rank 50 in Blacksmithing will never find iron ore. Actually play the game; don't assume.

Free items will only sell for 0 gold. They also provide no materials when you deconstruct them. That being said, Coldharbour is a good place in general. So if you are CP 160 but never put skill points in, you'll get 50% rubedite ore and 50% iron ore. All zones have approx. the same amount of resource nodes, but because the starter islands are smaller zones, the nodes appear very dense compared to other base game zones or especially a larger zone like Morrowind where nodes are much more spread out.

I keep raw items like Rubedite Ore on my characters until I refine them. Clothier (22 slots) : I keep two stacks each of Hemming, Embroidery, Rubedo Leather, and Ancestor Silk. I keep one stack each of Elegant Lining, Dreugh Wax, and secondary crafting materials (level 150, plus the 140cp materials Void Cloth and Shadowhide).

The way i make most of my gold is farming rubedite and vile mansion. Farm vile mansion just farming for an hour i get about 15k then i go farm rubedite ore i refine it any temps i may get from it i sell them and then sell the ingots in the guild store.

But here's an idea... go farm Rubedite ore in Wrothgar, then refine it. You might get lucky. I just farm it in the wild. I max out my cp craft tree to get double mat drops and I regularly do mat hunting. I have literally thousands of platinum ounces built up. It adds up over time. Remember that metal ore nodes also drop some raw platinum regularly.

I think it is definitely meant to be a slow grind, i can spend and hour farming cloth exclusively and come away with a stack of void cloth and only 2030 unrefined silk. Little bit frustrating but i understand the reasoning. I farm a bit, decon from dungeons and questing, but i ended up getting over it and bought the rest.
